Thun boasts a robust career spanning over two decades in the realms of cross-border corporate services, accounting and tax compliance, payroll and HR support, mergers and acquisitions, and advisory services for corporations, investment funds, and family offices.

His professional journey has been diverse, transitioning from an entrepreneur to a professional manager, and eventually taking on leadership roles within top-tier international corporate service firms. In 2011, Thun joined one of the world’s top two firms as the Managing Director of their Shanghai office following the acquisition of his own company.  He later moved on in 2016 to become the Market Head of China & Taiwan for the industry’s leading corporate services firm, overseeing a team of professionals across eight offices and various service lines.

Throughout his career, Thun has been instrumental in aiding numerous foreign multinational corporations with their expansion in key Asian markets and has also been a pillar of support for Chinese multinationals and entrepreneurs in their international investment endeavors across different markets and regions.

Thun is a seasoned corporate services expert with a keen commercial sense and a strategic mindset. He is a firm believer in the principles of continuous improvement and driving transformative change. Known for his ability to collaborate effectively with multicultural teams across various disciplines and geographies, Thun’s passion for growth and business development has led to the successful leadership of high-performing sales and business development teams.

Thun is bilingual in English and Mandarin, with proficiency in Cantonese and other Chinese dialects. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Banking & Finance from the University of London.
